Who is a Psalm Drummer?
A ‘Psalm Drummer’ can be identified as a drummer who, by faith, drums to announce the Kingdom of God.
Psalm Drummers share a vision and sense of calling to declare God’s Word orally and rhythmically as an act of prophetic worship. The vision of Psalm Drummers came through a dream that Terl Bryant had in 1995. Psalm Drummers are characterised by a combination of skill, a passion for God’s Word and a shared sense of calling to gather for praise and worship.
Psalm Drummers are served by The Psalm Drummers Association (PDA) an unincorporated association that works within the guidelines of the UK Charity commission, along with a core team of drummers from the network community.
Psalm Drummers meet in the UK at two open gatherings a year and also in private groups for prayer, worship and to serve on missions.
The network is relational, with many drummers and percussionists linked across the world who share the Psalm Drummer heart and vision. Psalm Drummers play their part as an interdenominational prayer network that stretches around the world.
